           RESERVATIONS ARE NOW OPEN FOR 2015

Please note that the Reservations for 2015 have begun. The 2015 application is attached. The cost for 2015 is projected to be $1500.00, the cost may increase or decrease, based on the final AMTRAK quote, which will not be known until August of 2014. Please send in your application with deposit to hold your spot. Once the contingent is full, we will split into crews of between 7 - 12 based geographically. Individual scouts and groups of scouts are welcome and encouraged to join us. You do not need to have a full group from your unit going to join us. Venture scouts are welcome. We are a coed contingent. All participants are required to travel with the contingent by AMTRAK. Please contact the contingent leader Terry Brown with questions. AN ADJUSTMENT HAS BEEN MADE TO THE FEE SCHEDULE, BECAUSE WE MOVED THE REGISTRATION FROM DECEMBER TO MARCH. YOUR DEPOSIT IS DUE WITH YOUR APPLICATION, BUT THE FIRST $355.00 PAYMENT IS NOT DUE UNTIL MAY 1ST.

The applications will be processed in the order council receives them. Individual scouts will be awarded a crew based on geography and other factors. Troops who submit a partial crew will have participants added to them. The crew breakouts will not be completed until all the slots are filled. In rare occasions troops may need to be adjusted based on the needs of the contingent but with the counsel of the lead advisors. All participants are required to travel with the contingent via AMTRAK. For safety all crews will have 3 adult leaders over the age of 21 in case one or more adults are removed prior or during the trek.
